ASHP-PAC Amplifies Pharmacists’ Voices on Capitol Hill
The bipartisan ASHP-PAC is the only political action committee focused on the issues that impact the needs of pharmacists who practice in hospitals.

ASHP thanks the more than 200 members who contributed to our political action committee, ASHP-PAC in 2022. These contributions helped ASHP support longtime pharmacy champions in Congress, nurture relationships with new allies, and lay the groundwork for legislative solutions to critical pharmacy practice issues such as provider status and protection of the 340B Drug Pricing Program.
ASHP-PAC is the only political action committee focused on the issues that impact the professional needs of pharmacists who practice in hospitals, health systems, clinics, and other healthcare settings. Member support of the PAC helps ASHP build relationships with members of Congress and educate them about the issues affecting pharmacy practice.
ASHP-PAC is bipartisan and most legislators who receive contributions from the PAC serve on committees that address healthcare issues. ASHP members must be U.S. citizens or green card holders to contribute to the PAC.
